Tybee Island paddle boarding tours. Tybee SUP.
Experience our beautiful waterways on a unique adventure: from the water, on a stand up paddleboard! Let us take you to an uninhabited nature preserve accessible only by boat. Here we will find miles of magnificent landscapes and pristine beaches. During our tour we will get up close to nature and marine life. We almost always see dolphins while we paddle!
New to stand up paddleboarding? Not to worry -- our tours begin with an introduction to the basic skills required to paddleboard.
The cost per person is $50 for a 2 hour tour. All necessary paddleboarding gear is included.
Please note that start times and tour direction are scheduled based on tidal fluctuations and weather. A waiver must be signed. If under the age of eighteen (18) a waiver must be signed by a parent/guardian. Minimum participant number must be met in order to host a tour.
Little Tybee/Sand Bar Tour
Usually starting on the shoreline of the south beach of Tybee, participants will learn the basics of paddleboarding: gear overview, paddle stroke and technique, and safety precautions.
We will then paddle to the ever-changing "sand bar", the perfect place to stretch your legs, have a beverage or snack or go for a swim.
Depending on the weather, tides and energy-level of our group, we may continue on our crossing of the Back River to Little Tybee.
As one of Georgia's fourteen Barrier Islands, Little Tybee is an uninhabited grouping of marshes, hammocks, waterways, estuaries and gorgeous, pristine beaches.
This is our most popular tour and is suitable for confident beginners.
The duration of this tour is approximately 2 - 2.5 hours. Call for scheduling dates and times. Come experience this dolphin playground for yourself!
Horsepen Creek Tour
See Tybee from a whole new perspective! This tour starts at the same location as the Little Tybee tour but heads UP the Back River into Horsepen Creek on an incoming tide.
Join us for a adventurous river paddle that winds through a tranquil marsh tidal creek.
Cruise past beautiful waterfront homes and boats while viewing spectacular wildlife and coastal birds.
Sightings of osprey, an occasional eagle, pelicans, wading and shore birds often occur.
The water of the Back River is the playground of dolphins, sea turtles and rays.
This beginner tour lasts approximately 2-2.5 hours, starts with a beginner lesson and includes all needed gear. Call us for dates and times.
